Now In: What is the 'Qx-Ring'?
Question: What is the 'Qx-Ring'? Added: 10/8/2007

Answer: The Qx-Ring makes various sized woofers fit boxes with an airtight fit. Due to manufacturing differences between companies, a 10" woofer isn't always a 10" woofer, and a 12" isn't always a 12". Differences in frame sizes create a problem during the mounting process. The Q-Logic Qx-Ring solves this problem.

Easy to trim tabs let you make the opening the right size for any woofer. (So called 10" woofers have cut-out diameters varying from 8.75" up to almost 9.5"!)

You'll never again spend 20 minutes creating a mountain of sawdust opening up an enclosure to fit a big cast frame driver (not to mention 20 minutes cleaning up the mess!)

Qx-Ring Features

  • It centers the woofer in the hole perfectly. No more driving screws into air.
  • The guides show exactly where to put the screws.
  • The alignment guide makes it easy to get the woofer in straight to eliminate slanding dust cap logos.
  • The Qx-Ring helps make the hole the perfect size to fit any woofer on the market.
