Safety: Ignition off/key removed. Follow the vehicle manufacturer's battery/SRS precautions. Use plastic trim tools and do not force a panel that resists.

S10/Sonoma/Blazer/Jimmy/Hombre/Bravada (1994–2004)

OEM term: Body hinge pillar trim panel   Source grade: A

  1. GM service sequence removes the door sill plate before the body/hinge-pillar trim panel; this is the OEM kick-panel equivalent.
  2. Work the panel free with a plastic trim tool, supporting the panel close to each retainer.
  3. Stop if the panel does not release normally and re-check the linked factory source for hidden fasteners or trim-option differences.
