OEM term: Kick panel / fresh-air door assembly   Source grade: D

  1. Identify the factory Kick panel / fresh-air door assembly and any sill plate, footrest, hood-release handle, or adjacent trim that overlaps it.
  2. Remove visible screws, nuts, push pins, or clips only after confirming their locations in the linked reference.
  3. Use a plastic trim tool close to each retainer and pull the panel free without forcing it.
  4. If the panel resists, stop and verify the exact model-year procedure before continuing.
