QL-K1018 OEM Kick Panel Removal Instructions

QL-K1018 — factory kick/cowl-side trim removal guide for the Q-Logic fitments listed below.

Safety: Ignition off/key removed. Follow the vehicle manufacturer's battery/SRS precautions. Use plastic trim tools and do not force a panel that resists.

Chevelle/GTO/442/Cutlass/GS (1968–1972)

OEM term: Kick panel / fresh-air door assembly   Source grade: D

  1. Remove the factory kick-panel grille/vent cover.
  2. Remove the five OEM screws retaining the fresh-air door assembly.
  3. Disconnect the fresh-air pull-cable assemblies.
  4. Remove the factory kick panel/vent assembly from the footwell.

Q-Forms note: Vent handles may need removal; floor dimmer interference.
