QL-K3009 OEM Kick Panel Removal Instructions

QL-K3009 — OEM kick/cowl-side trim removal guide for 1996–1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Safety: Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable before working around interior electrical components.

Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ (1996–1998)

OEM term: Right/left cowl-side trim   Source grade: B

  1. Remove the inner scuff/sill trim that overlaps the cowl-side trim.
  2. On the right side, open/remove the fuse-panel access as required and remove the cowl-trim retaining hardware.
  3. Remove the screws/retainers at the front door opening, then pull the cowl trim away from the inner panel.
  4. Remove the factory footrest as required for Q-Forms fitment.
